Update Website Messaging to Chat + Conversations

Update Website Messaging to the new Chat + Conversations for an even better experience, including real-time chat, automated messaging that helps your customers even when you’re not available, and the ability to customize your chat experience.

Required: To enable chat on the web, you'll need a Websites + Marketing plan. If you're subscribed to Conversations standalone, you won't have this feature.

Updating is free and takes only a few seconds.

In a browser, go to your GoDaddy product page.
Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
Select Edit Website or Edit Site to open your website builder.
In the bottom-right corner, select Messaging.
At the top of the panel on the right you'll see the REQUIRED UPDATE banner. Select Update Now.
Read the information explaining what updating gives you. When you’re ready, select Update Now (Required).
At the top of the screen, select Publish to republish your website with Chat + Conversations enabled.
