Understand the Point of Sale Plus Plan

All GoDaddy Payments merchants with a GoDaddy smart terminal (like the GoDaddy Poynt Smart Terminal and GoDaddy Smart Terminal Flex) have access to free, useful features through GoDaddy Payments. Smart terminal owners can also upgrade to the Point of Sale Plus plan to lower transaction fees from our standard fees and access expanded features. To subscribe, visit your GoDaddy Payments dashboard.

Note: Access to the Point of Sale Plus plan is currently limited, so you may not see the option to subscribe in your dashboard yet. Access will be expanded to all GoDaddy Payments merchants soon.

Additional details:

The following benefits and features are included with the Point of Sale Plus plan:

  • Lower processing fees: All GoDaddy Payments merchants with a Point of Sale Plus plan automatically have lower payment processing fees (2.3%) applied to in-person transactions, compared to our standard GoDaddy Payments fees (2.5%). If you process a lot of in-person sales, the savings can add up quickly!
  • Unlimited product inventory: Manage larger product catalogs with an unlimited number of products for in-person sales. Add products to your GoDaddy Payments product catalog and then sell them on your GoDaddy POS device or through the GoDaddy mobile app. All products in your GoDaddy Payments catalog can also be sold through your Websites + Marketing and Managed WordPress Ecommerce online stores.
  • Inventory management and alerts on your point of sale device: Manage inventory directly through the catalog on your GoDaddy POS device. Edit stock count, enable/disable backorders and set low inventory and out of stock alerts to appear on your POS device. When you sell on a POS device, in the mobile app, or through a Websites + Marketing or Managed WordPress Ecommerce online store, your inventory count will automatically sync and update across platforms. (Inventory isn’t displayed on the mobile app, but sales through the mobile app are applied to your overall inventory counts.)
  • Credit surcharge program: With the Point of Sale Plus plan, you can enable credit surcharging to recoup credit card processing expenses with our fully compliant credit surcharge option. (Some additional restrictions may apply.)
  • Online ordering page: Launch a new online ordering page in minutes, with the same GoDaddy Payments product catalog – no additional website or product inventory required. Your customers can view your products online and conveniently order online for pick up in store. These orders show up on your GoDaddy smart terminal for a combined view of all your online and in-store orders.
  • User roles and permissions: Create and assign web roles and permissions to your employees, to control access to back office business tasks. Invite users to access your Commerce Home dashboard or sell products with the GoDaddy mobile app as an employee, manager or admin, allowing each role to access only permitted features on the dashboard (like reporting or the product catalog). You can also create additional custom roles for vendors and other contacts.
  • Enhanced branding: In addition to the standard store receipt customization that’s available with a free GoDaddy Payments account, you can remove all GoDaddy branding from digital receipts and send them from a custom email address.
