Process a credit card transaction with the GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader

GoDaddy Payments accepts all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Use the GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader to process your customers' credit card payments when they've got their physical card.

You can also process credit card payments via Tap to Pay on iPhone, by generating a QR code or by manually entering the credit card info.

Note: Before you can use your Card Reader, you must first pair it to your mobile device.

1. Open the GoDaddy mobile app on your mobile device and create an order.
2. Tap Charge, and then tap Card Reader.
3. Wait for your customer to insert, swipe, or tap their card on the Card Reader, and then tap Continue.
4. Hand your mobile device to your customer so they can add a tip, if applicable, and sign.
5. Have your customer choose how they want to receive a receipt (None, Email or Phone).
6. Tap Done to complete the order.
