What is Microsoft Planner?

Microsoft Planner is a web-based work management tool used to help your business manage tasks and projects. Whether you’re working on a small project or a large initiative, Planner can help you break down projects into manageable tasks, monitor progress in real time and allocate your resources effectively.

Note: Online Business Essentials and higher email plans already include Planner, but you can upgrade to Planner Plan 1 in the Email & Office Dashboard to get access to more features, like project goals, backlogs and sprints, reports and Gantt charts. Compare Planner plans from Microsoft.

Key features of Planner include task lists, plan templates and real-time collaboration and commenting to help your team collaborate and stay organized. Planner also integrates with the Microsoft Office apps so you can share plans and see tasks assigned to you from Teams meeting notes.
