Get a Business Calling & Texting number


Step 2 of the Set up GoDaddy Conversations and connect with customers series

If you have a standalone Conversations subscription, you can set up a dedicated business phone number to connect with customers through text messages and calls, using GoDaddy Conversations.

Note: Calling and texting is only available for U.S. phone numbers. To send text messages through GoDaddy Conversations, you'll need to register your business number for A2P10DLC compliance.

To set up your Business Calling & Texting number:

  1. Download and install the GoDaddy Conversations mobile app, and then sign in using your GoDaddy details.
  2. If you previously had a Websites + Marketing plan with conversations and a business number, this will now fall away. After you've bought your Conversations standalone subscription:
    1. At the top of the screen, tap the venture dropdown.
    2. At the end of the list of ventures, tap New Business. This is your new paid plan.

    3. Follow the prompts to set up your new business.
  3. You'll be asked to add your business phone number.
  4. Enter the 3-digit U.S. area code of the city or region where you do business.
  5. Tap the phone number you want to use.
  6. Tap Connect to finalize your selection.
  7. On the Account page, you'll see your new business phone number.
