Delete a thread from GoDaddy Conversations
Clear the clutter in your GoDaddy Conversations inbox by deleting chat, voice and text messages that you no longer need.
Warning:
- Deleting a conversation is permanent
- You cannot delete a single message in a conversation thread, only an entire conversation
- You cannot delete comments about your social media posts yet
- You won’t be able to delete your social media conversations
Choose your device to see how to delete a conversation from your inbox, or from within a conversation thread.
- Sign in to your GoDaddy Conversations mobile app.
- In the lower-left corner, tap Conversations to see a list of all your unarchived conversations.
Delete from your inbox
- On the conversation you'd like to delete, slightly swipe left.
Note: If you accidentally swipe all the way left, the conversation will be archived. To undo this, restore the conversation from the archive.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Delete from within a conversation thread
You can also delete conversations when you're in a conversation thread.
- Tap the conversation you want to delete.
- In the upper-right corner, tap
More. - Tap
Delete. - Tap Delete to confirm.
- Sign in to your GoDaddy Conversations mobile app.
- In the lower-left corner, tap Conversations to see a list of all your unarchived conversations.
Delete from your inbox
- Tap and hold the conversation you'd like to delete.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Delete from within a conversation thread
You can also delete conversations when you're in a conversation thread.
- Tap the conversation you want to delete.
- In the upper-right corner, tap More.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
- In a web browser, go to your GoDaddy product page.
- If you have the standalone version of Conversations, scroll to Conversations Unified Inbox and select Web Inbox on the right.
OR
If you have a Websites + Marketing plan, scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site. From the menu on the left, select Conversations and then Inbox.
You'll see a list of all your unarchived conversations.
Delete from your inbox
- Hover your mouse pointer over the conversation you want to delete.
- To the left of the message, select More.
- Select Delete.
Delete from within a conversation thread
You can also delete conversations when you're in a conversation thread:
- Select the conversation you want to delete.
- In the upper-right corner, tap Delete.
