Send images with GoDaddy Conversations
Sometimes you want to send an image with one of your messages, for example, if a customer asks for a picture of a product. You can do this on all our channels - Website Messaging, Chat, Instagram, Facebook, and Business Call & Texting.
The file formats supported are .jpg, .png, or .gif. On mobile, animated .gifs can’t be sent yet.
To send an image:
Note: On the mobile app, you can currently send only one image at a time.
- Sign in to your GoDaddy Conversations app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap Conversations.
- Tap the message you want to reply to.
- Tap the paper clip icon to the left of the reply box.
- Select the image you want to send. To remove the image and replace it, tap X on the image and repeat steps 4 and 5.
- (Optional) Add a text message.
- Tap Send.
To view images in your conversation history:
- In the conversation history, scroll to the image you want to view.
- Tap the image.
- Pinch to zoom in or out.
- To dismiss, tap the X on the image.
- In a web browser, go to your product page.
- If you have the standalone version of Conversations, scroll to Conversations Unified Inbox and select Web Inbox on the right.
OR
If you have a Websites + Marketing plan, scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site. From the menu on the left, select Conversations and then Inbox. You’ll see a list of all your unarchived conversations.
- Select the message you want to reply to.
- Select Add to the left of the reply box.
- You can select images from your GoDaddy image library or your computer.
- To add an image from your GoDaddy image library, select Insert Image from Library and then select the images you want to send.
- To add an image from your computer, select Attach File from Computer, browse to and select the image, and then select Open.
- (Optional) Add a text message.
- Select send.
To view images in your conversation history:
- In the conversation history, scroll to the image you want to view.
- Select the image.
- Use the browser zoom feature to zoom in or out.
- To dismiss, click anywhere off the image, or select the X on the image.
Note: Images are sometimes compressed, but this shouldn’t affect the quality more than with traditional MMS.
