Create and apply discounts (In Person page)
Create and manage discounts through the GoDaddy Payments Dashboard in your web browser. Applicable discounts are automatically applied during the order process. You can also manually apply them when completing transactions.
The steps below cover how to apply discounts through the original In Person overview of the GoDaddy Payments dashboard. If you’re using the updated dashboard (displays Catalog in the left-nav, then Discounts in the top-nav), check out our info for adding discounts in the updated web browser dashboard.
- Sign in to your In Person Overview page (use your GoDaddy username and password).
- Select Catalogs. (You'll need to create a catalog for your Smart Terminal if you haven’t already.)
- Select a catalog where you want to apply a discount.
- Below your catalog’s name, select Discounts, and then Add discount.
- In the Code field, enter a name to help differentiate this discount from others you create.
- In the Type field, enter a discount Percent (%) or Amount.
- Switch on the Pre-tax toggle to apply the discount before tax is applied to the order.
- Select Done.
