What are the MID and TID and where can I find them?
Here's how to find your Merchant Identification number (MID) and Terminal Identification number (TID). You may be asked for one or both to verify your identity or help troubleshoot issues when contacting customer support.
What are the MID and TID?
- When you sign up for a GoDaddy Payments account, you automatically receive a MID. This unique, ten-digit code enables the movement of funds between your customer’s bank account and your merchant account.
- Every GoDaddy smart terminal has a unique hardware identifier called a TID. The TID can identify the device where a particular transaction originated.
Find your MID or TID
- Tap Settings on the second page of the smart terminal home screen.
- Select Payments.
- Your MID and TID are both listed on the Payments screen.
