Physical damage to the hardware
When you buy a device directly from GoDaddy, it comes with a one-year warranty against any defect in materials or workmanship. The warranty doesn’t cover physical damage to the unit. GoDaddy can’t exchange, repair or refund devices or accessories with signs of physical damage, abuse, tampering or hardware alterations.
This includes, but isn’t limited to:
- Dropping the device
- Fire or heat damage
- Liquid damage
- Disassembling the device
- Repairing the device
- Altering or otherwise tampering with the device in any way

Troubleshooting and replacement
Depending on the nature of your issue, there may be troubleshooting steps in our help center that can resolve the problem. Check out the troubleshooting articles for your device:

If troubleshooting doesn’t work for a damaged unit, you’ll need to purchase a new device or accessory.
