Customize my GoDaddy smart terminal screen

Change the background images that appear on your GoDaddy smart terminal’s customer or merchant screens and select the accepted payment logos your device displays on the customer screen.

Note: Single-screen devices (like the GoDaddy Smart Terminal Flex) use the Merchant screen settings only.

Strengthen your branding by displaying a customized image – such as your company logo or latest promotional image – and payment banner that your customers see during transactions.

Display a background image

  1. Sign in to your In Person Overview page (use your GoDaddy username and password).
  2. Select Settings or Customize.
  3. Under Customer-facing Screen, select Upload Image to locate and upload the image you want.
    • The file should be JPG or PNG and the recommended size is 800 x 400 pixels in landscape orientation. There’s also an option to automatically crop the image to fit the screen.
  4. Select Open. The new picture will display in the example Customer Screen image.
  5. Select Save Changes.

Customize the payment icon banner

  1. Sign in to your In Person Overview page (use your GoDaddy username and password).
  2. Select Settings or Customize.
  3. Under Payment Icon Banner, choose the payment logos that you want to appear along the bottom of the customer screen:
    • Switch the Show payment icon banner toggle on or off to display or hide the banner.
    • Select the checkboxes for the payment icons to display on the customer screen (American Express, Apple Pay, etc.). Hiding a payment logo removes the corresponding icon from the customer’s screen, but you can still process payments using that provider.
  4. Select Save Changes.

Choose an image to display on the screen that you and your employees see.

  1. Sign in to your In Person Overview page (use your GoDaddy username and password).
  2. Select Settings or Customize.
  3. Under Merchant-facing Screen, select Upload Image to locate and upload the image you want.
    • The file should be JPG or PNG and the recommended size is 800 x 1280 pixels in portrait orientation. There’s also an option to automatically crop the image to fit the screen.
  4. Select Open. The new picture will display in the example Merchant Screen image.
  5. Select Save Changes.
