Consultation and negotiation for Domain Broker Service
Step 2 of the Domain Broker Service: a buyer's roadmap series.
Your personal Domain Broker Agent contacts you at this point in the process based on your preference from the previous step. They'll review your budget, goals for your domain name and explain the entire process in more detail. Then, they'll reach out to the current domain owner and begin negotiations for purchasing the domain on your behalf.
Consultation call
Your personal domain broker agent gets in touch with you to review your Domain Broker Service claim. After confirming your information, they will reach out to the current domain owner.
Negotiations
Your domain broker agent works rigorously to get in contact with the current domain owner using multiple tools and services. If they are able to get in touch with the current owner, they will explain someone is interested in buying their domain name. Don't worry, we won't share any of your personal contact information.
If the current domain owner is open to selling, negotiations will begin. Your broker agent will do their best to remain within the budget you set, aiming for a price you and the seller are both comfortable with. The current owner may counter-offer with a different price. If this happens, your broker agent will contact you to review the counter-offer, which you can accept, or you can submit your own counter-offer.
Sale accepted
If you and the current domain owner are able to agree on a price for the domain name, you'll move on to the purchase process.
